Safety is not a box we check. It is the standard we build by. Every project, every site and every person on our team is expected to go home in the same shape they arrived. We invest in training, equipment and regular company wide programs because a strong safety culture does not happen by accident. It is built with intention and reinforced every single day.
We protect our people with clear expectations, constant communication and hands on training. Our field teams and leadership share one goal: create an environment where safety is second nature and excellence is the baseline. When we say we pride ourselves on safety, we mean it.
Training like this keeps our teams sharp, our sites efficient and our partners confident in our work. When every operator is certified, prepared and well trained, the whole job moves smoother. Safety strengthens quality and quality strengthens reputation.
Our most recent event was a full company training focused on Mobile Elevated Work Platforms. More than 280 members of our team completed a full day program that blended classroom learning with real world practice.
The program met all requirements under OSHA 29 CFR 1926.453 along with ANSI A92.22 and A92.24 standards. Our teams received instruction on the operation, inspection and safe use of the following equipment during a single session:
They also completed familiarization with vertical personnel lifts and took part in both knowledge based and practical skill assessments. The goal was simple. Give every operator the confidence and capability to work safely on every platform they encounter in the field.
Walker Drywall works in partnership with Progressive Safety LLC to support consistent, well-managed safety practices across all projects. This long-term relationship strengthens risk management, improves jobsite coordination, and supports reliable project execution from start to finish.
Progressive Safety provides OSHA-compliant training and consulting services tailored to the demands of commercial construction. These services include OSHA 30-Hour Construction training, fall protection, hazard awareness, equipment and task-specific training, accident and injury prevention programs, and incident investigation and reporting support. The focus is on practical implementation - ensuring safety requirements are clearly understood and effectively applied in the field.
In addition to training, Progressive Safety conducts jobsite safety audits, daily site safety inspections, and hazard assessments that help identify and address issues early. This proactive approach supports schedule continuity, reduces preventable incidents, and strengthens coordination between field crews, supervision, and project management. Collaboration is central to this partnership. Progressive Safety works directly with Walker Drywall leadership and site supervision to align safety planning with project-specific conditions, general contractor requirements, and owner expectations. Safety is integrated into daily operations rather than treated as a standalone compliance function.
For owners and developers, this partnership provides added confidence that Walker Drywall projects are supported by trained crews, consistent oversight, and a structured approach to safety and risk management. The result is a safer jobsite, reduced exposure, and crews prepared to perform high-quality work while meeting or exceeding project safety standards.
Our approach is straightforward. We plan well, we communicate often and we follow through. Whether we are framing a school, finishing an office or building out a large civic project, you can count on our teams to bring the right skills and the right mindset. Safety first. Performance always.
